Yeah! Daddy's home! It was a long, long, long two weeks without him! The boys were absolutly beside themselves. We decorated the yard with painted signs and inside the house too. Brent brought Jax a little guitar like he and Aden have with these oversized pics so he can hold on to them. And get this- Jax calls them his "pickles"! It's precious! Aden got a 4 Star general rank for his Army fatigues and some new hot wheels cars! We have grown into those recently and it makes me realize he's definalty not so little anymore. And he even brought the baby a present, it made me cry.... It's a little pink camo onsie that says "If you love your freedom, thank my Dad". So tiny, so pink, so cute! I'll upload pics of all that later. But, Daddy is finally back at the house and it feels like home again!I was also really struck today by the kindness of our neighbors. While Brent was gone, the yard we dug up for grass- that is still dirt turned to a bed of weeds as tall as my waist! He was out this afternoon digging them up and our neighbor accross the street came over with a shovel in hand to help him dig! Then our other neighbors son who's not but 10 or 11 came over with a shovel in hand and offered to help! I mean i cried again- yes, I am pregnant! I guess in this worl it always seems that people only want to help if they are going to get soemthing out of it and today I got proof that some people are just kind and good becasue it's the right thing to do. Mad emy heart smile.Also- our pastor Randy Harling really hit the nail on the head today. It was a beautiful illustration of how we get wrapped up in the outside images of life and forget that what's truly of worth in on the inside. And how when we fail to step up to the challenge God's called us to soemone out there is loosing and hurting becasue of our choice to be indifferent.Well that's all for now, but a verse for today......... well two

For the times when you feel like God has abandon you and He just doesn't care...

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair; persecuted, but not in abandon; struck down but not destroyed.2 Corinthians 4:8-9

The Promise:"

For we fix our eyes on what is seen, not unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."2 Corinthians 4:18Love and Blessings,Amanda
